Personal Webpage¶

Centra hosts personal webpages for permanent members, long term visitors and students.

We have two web hosting options:

Self Managed personal webpage.

Automatic Webpage Setup (Upcoming)

Self Managed personal webpage¶

Self managed webpages are pages set-up and maintained by the owner.

Support will be limited and all responsability of maintaining the page is yours.

In order to have a self-managed webpage, you need to have a Personal Shell Account.

Your webpage’s files should be deployed in your ~/public_html/ folder.

Special permissions for your home folder should be set:

$ chmod -R ugo+rX ~/public_html/

$ chmod o+rX ~/

After the special permissions are set, your webpage should be available through http://centra.tecnico.ulisboa.pt/~yourusername
