Printing in MacOS X¶
Instructions¶
Click on the (apple) located at the left of your menu bar and go to”System Settings”
Click on “Printing and Scanning”
Click on the + icon and choose IP
For the protocol choose LPD (Line Print Daemon)
In the address box insert “gamow.tecnico.ulisboa.pt”
In the queue name insert the printer name as in the Printer List i.e:
ColorLaserJet1
In the printer options remember to select the paper size A4 and turn on Double Sided Printing to Long Edge (Standard)
Note that the link of the configured printer should be like shown in the table below
Make sure you DO NOT share the printer.
You should now have your printer configured.
